What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
  • Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, job costing, inventory accounting, and month-end close.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and operational processes.
  • Partner with operations, project managers, and leadership to provide clear financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and insurance partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying ways to increase accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning.
  • Stay current on relevant regulations and maintain compliance across the organization.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of accounting leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or other project-driven industries.
  • Deep knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to translate financial information clearly and confidently.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Opportunity to lead a strong department and help shape its long-term success.
  • A culture that values energy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • The chance to make a real operational and financial impact across the organization.
  • A dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
